So yesterday we went to Turkey Creek and then did some puttering around in our Garden 2.0. This year in our garden we planted: tomatoes, cucumbers, sugar snap peas, flowers, dill, rosemary, basil, jalapeños, spinach, chives, thyme, mint, oregano and probably some more that I forgot thank goodness for those little plastic name thingies to put in the ground.

I took pictures of Turkey Creek & The Garden, however, after going through some of the turkey creek pics and garden, I realize it's a bit much in one post. SO YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE TURKEY CREEK PICS HERE'S MY GARDEN

A little bit early, but as per last post, I promised a shot of my shrine of tea. So here it is!




And as some of you know, I dyed my hair with henna New Year's eve. How's it holdin' up anyway? Well here's what it looks like today (like five minutes ago) in the sun!

This years haul:

This tea pot brings my water to a perfect 180 degrees for green tea in three minutes. There's a setting for black teas too, but since I don't have any of them I don't need to know at the moment.

This bad boy of AWESOMENESS:

This puppy brews it perfect. All I have to do is set it atop a mug. The bottom has a pressure release and it drains right into my cup.

Green tea galore:

Gunpowder, hojicha, dragonwell, apricot, pi lo chun, genmai cha, emerald needle, green anji, gyokuro and cancer.

Today was a good day. Found some really pretty tinsel to match our room, found an awesome christmas hat that Shawn--when I wasn't looking--ninja'd it into the pile of christmas stuff at the register.
